Attitudinal Adjustment

Tristan's vocabulary has astounded me. It's expanded so much in the past two months that Emily and I have had to rewrite our "Tristan Translator" book. We've depended so much on his previous words that the new words he says, "we're like what?" it's pretty funny. what's good about it though is he's clearer with his pronunciation so our translator job is easier.

Tristan's new thing now is his attitude. He's inherited my hair/looks but Emily's attitude. He's talking back to us. When we say his full name, he's in a bit of trouble. He now finishes his name for us. We say Tristan James... he ends with "Asala." We can't stay mad at him after that. He also even changes his tone when he does it. Too funny. He's also taken to saying "stop it"...all the time. When we scold him, when he doesn't get his way, whenever he feels like it, he says "stop it." Where ever he learned that...i dunno.

Every day he changes and grows up. He's not my little baby boy anymore... he's my little man. And he's too smart for his own good.

Til next time
